Energy Engineering & Technical Compliance Disclaimer
Please read this notice before relying on any report, design pack, or calculation produced by Integravolt.
1. Advisory Nature of Our Work
Integravolt is a technical energy consultancy. Our design packs, feasibility studies, SAP calculations, and engineering reports are advisory documents. They are produced to assist with planning, tendering, and building regulation submissions. They do not constitute a guarantee of performance, approval, or compliance outcome.
All design recommendations are based on the information provided to us at the time of instruction. If site conditions, specifications, or regulations change after a report is issued, a revised assessment may be required.
2. Regulatory Approvals
Our work does not replace or substitute for statutory approvals. These include — but are not limited to — Building Regulations approval, Planning Permission, DNO (Distribution Network Operator) grid connection consent, and MCS certification for renewable energy installations.
SAP calculations produced by Integravolt are submitted as supporting evidence to Building Control. The decision to accept or reject a submission rests with the relevant Building Control Body.
3. Installation Responsibility
Integravolt does not carry out physical installation work. Where we recommend or introduce third-party contractors, those contractors are independently responsible for their work, their own insurances, and compliance with all applicable standards (including BS 7671, Part P, and MCS installation standards).
You should verify the qualifications, insurance, and regulatory registrations of any contractor before engaging them directly.
4. Website Content & Knowledge Hub
Articles, guides, and tool outputs published on integravolt.co.uk are provided for general information only. They do not constitute engineering advice for any specific project. Figures, tariff rates, and regulatory thresholds quoted in articles are accurate at time of publication and may change. Always verify current requirements with the relevant authority.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Integravolt and Flexitest Ltd accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on our reports, articles, or calculator outputs where: (a) information provided to us was incomplete or inaccurate; (b) site conditions differed from those described; or (c) recommendations were implemented without the required statutory approvals being obtained first.
Our liability in all cases is limited to the fee paid for the relevant service, as stated in our Terms and Conditions.
6. Professional Standards
David Richards operates under the professional obligations of a chartered electrical engineer. Work is carried out in accordance with applicable British Standards, IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671 18th Edition), and CIBSE guidance where relevant. Flexitest Ltd is NICEIC registered and holds relevant MCS certification for design activities.
